How Mayan Unlocked Solana for Bungee

Bungee title

Bungee’s Next Market Was Solana

Socket is the network that routes money movement across chains, with coverage spanning 50+ chains and 10,000+ assets. Bungee is the consumer swap product Socket built on top of that network, giving users the routing directly.

As Bungee grew, Solana became an obvious market to support. It had become one of crypto’s most active ecosystems for trading, stablecoins, consumer apps, and new assets.

For Socket and Bungee, Solana access meant more than broader chain coverage. It meant reaching a major source of user demand.

Mayan Opened the Route

Mayan was the first Solana route live in Bungee. It's integrated as a route provider on the Socket network, which is how Bungee reaches it, and how any app built on Socket can offer the same Solana routes with no additional integration work.

With Mayan integrated, Bungee could offer:

  • EVM → Solana swaps

  • Solana → EVM swaps

  • Swaps between Solana assets

That changed what Bungee could serve. Users could reach Solana from more places, and apps using Socket could support Solana routes through the same stack they already relied on.

Mayan handled the instant movement between those chains.

Users Followed

Once Solana was available through Mayan, the demand showed up quickly.

The largest Mayan-powered route by volume inside Bungee is Ethereum → Solana. The highest-count route is Solana → Solana.

Across the integration, Mayan has powered:

  • $350M+ in volume.

  • 270K+ swaps.

  • 125K+ wallets.

Bungee by the numbers

“Solana was one of the clearest demand signals we'd seen from Bungee users. Bringing Mayan onto the Socket network meant Bungee could serve it straight away, and so could every app built on Socket, without a new integration. The numbers since say the demand was real.” —Rishabh Khurana, co-CEO of Socket.

What This Means for Integrators

Every app eventually runs into the same problem: users have assets on one chain, while the product needs them somewhere else.

  • A trading app needs deposits

  • A wallet needs swaps

  • A payments app needs stablecoins on the right chain

  • A consumer app needs users to fund an action without leaving

Mayan gives builders a way to solve that inside the product.

For Bungee, the unlock was Solana. For another product, it could be Base deposits, Hyperliquid withdrawals, Monad access, Sui access, stablecoin movement, or any route users need next.

With Mayan, teams can add:

  • Access between Solana and major EVM chains

  • Swaps across supported chains and assets

  • More ways for users to enter and use the product

  • Revenue on every swap, settled onchain automatically

Mayan helps apps reach more users, support more assets, and connect to more markets.

What this unlocks - bungee

Build Directly With Mayan

The execution layer that unlocked Solana for Bungee is available through the Mayan SDK: @mayanfinance/swap-sdk.

Core SDK functions include:

  • fetchQuote

  • swapFromEvm

  • swapFromSolana

Bungee used Mayan to unlock Solana.

Your product can use Mayan to unlock the next chain, asset, or market your users need.
